Fontane Main Crop Seed Potatoes

Fontane is a very high yielding processing variety suitable for production of French fries. This yellow skinned, and pale yellow fleshed variety produces large, oval to long oval tubers with shallow eyes. It has a long dormancy and maintains low sugars even after long term storage.

Care & Maintenance

Grow main crop potatoes in the ground for best results, as they'll have more space. Main crop varieties tend to produce larger spuds for baking and roasting. Chit the tubers and plant up from March to mid-May for a harvest in approximately 20 weeks.
