Our Barlow Tyrie Aura garden furniture is entirely maintenance free. It does not need to be stored in winter, and will not need treating. Teak table tops will weather to a rich dark-grey colouring but this is completely normal and does not affect their usability.

What is Teak?

Teak is a hardwood tree from South East Asia. It has a naturally high oil content, which makes it both stable and resistant to rotting - the perfect timber for outdoor furniture.

Over time, teak will naturally weather from golden brown to a silver-grey colour. Fine cracks may appear in Teak due to changes in temperature and humidity but this is not to be worried about.
