All our Christmas lights are sourced from the very best manufacturers and therefore we have no hesitation in giving 12 months warranty on all the lighted products. If items were bought in store just return them to the store with your proof of purchase. If you purchased them over the internet please just call the Customer Services department and quote your order number. The exception to this are the lights on the pre-lit artificial Christmas trees which have a 15 year warranty along with the rest of the tree; this warranty covers defective materials and construction.

The alternative to LEDs are long-life lights which only have about 20% of the life of the LEDs. They are also warm to the touch whereas LEDs are cold so if you have children or are worried about ornaments on the tree catching fire then LEDs are the obvious choice. As long-life bulbs become hot they cost a lot more to run then the LEDs. Even though the LEDs cost a little more than the long-life lights you will save money by having lower energy bills and you won't be replacing them frequently.  

LED lights are incredibly long lasting, on average they will last for approximately 10,000 hours. Assuming they are on for 8 hours a day they should last over a 1,000 days.
