Yes, the staff in The Barbecue Shop here in store are all passionate about barbecue and will be able to advise on your choice of grill, what accessories you need and they can even suggest some recipes.

Yes, we hold BBQ courses here in the store which are designed to suit anyone of any ability. They are led by 2 of the industries top BBQ chefs. You will learn how to regulate the temperature of your grill, what to cook on the different heat zones and how to cook some delicious food and of course eat it. Keep an eye on our Events page for upcoming courses. We recommend booking early as they are very popular and spaces are limited.

The purist barbecuers will always argue that charcoal is the only way to cook authentic BBQ food, however with the addition of a smoker box and flavoured wood chips your gas grill can produce exactly the same smoky flavour. The advantages gas have over charcoal is that they are quicker to come to temperature and there are no messy ashes to discard at the end of the cook. Yes, you can leave your BBQ outside all year round, all of our barbecues and pellet grills are weatherproof, however we do recommend covering them or placing them under a cover as they will last much longer when they are covered. We offer a range of BBQ covers to make sure your BBQ will last for longer.
