Choosing one of our unlit artificial Christmas gives you the freedom to make your tree truly personal. We have a large selection of Christmas lights both online and in the store at Ambleside. The LEDs are exceptionally cheap to run, less than a pound for the whole of the festive season. They are low voltage and cool to the touch so ideal if you have a Christmas tree in a child's bedroom. Our unlit trees are available in a range of heights and widths from the standard width to the ultra-slim pencil trees ideal for a hallway or landing. If you don't have the time or patience to put lights on your tree check out our range of pre-lit artificial trees.

Cool white suits a minimalist Scandi palette of white, pale blue, crystal, birch wood, caramel and sage or a strong red and white theme. Warm white lights suit the more traditional colour schemes of red and gold, woodland colours of amber, cream, coffee and sage, rich burgundy and antique gold or the opulent pastels of dusky pink, cream, lilac, sage and mauve.

What are the advantages of buying an un-lit artificial Christmas tree rather than a pre-lit?
Buying an un-lit artificial Christmas tree allows you to personalise it with your own selection of lights to suit the colour theme of your decorations. You can change the lights to match different colour schemes, which is a huge asset if you regularly change the colour palette of your tree. However we do sell dual-lit trees which have both warm white and multi-coloured lights. These trees are displayed at the store in the Christmas department. 
What type of lights are on the pre-lit artificial trees?

The vast majority of our pre-lit artificial Christmas trees have low energy LED lights which have an average run time of approximately 10,000 hours which equates to over 1,000 days. The lights cost very little to run, only a couple of pounds for the whole of the festive season.
