Can hanging garden chairs stay outside?

Hanging chairs can definitely stay outside. Rattan is durable and long lasting, designed to withstand weather conditions without any treatment or intense maintenance. A light wash with soapy water will clean any dust but otherwise, your chair can be left alone. Cushions should be kept under cover, ideally in a storage box, to prevent damp or mould but the hanging chair itself can be safely left outside all year round.

Do hanging chairs blow over in the wind?

The base of a hanging chair has been designed so that it does not topple over in the wind. Extreme wind could cause the chair to move and so you can hold it down with sandbags or similar, but this would only be necessary in very high winds.

What is the best hanging chair?

Rattan hanging chairs with aluminium bases make the most hard wearing chairs and last the longest. Aluminium does not rust and rattan does not rot. Good rattan is UV stable and will not fade either.
