Pentland Javelin First Early Seed Potatoes

Pentland Javelin seed potatoes were bred back in 1968 and have, for many years, been considered one of the finest first earlies that you can grow. Pentland Javelin produces heavy crops of short, oval, white skinned tubers with pure white, tasty flesh. Great to simply throw into the pan and boil for salads.

Care & Maintenance

Plant first early potatoes between the end of February and late May. They'll be ready for harvest in around ten weeks from planting. It's a good idea to chit these varieties before planting, allowing them to produce long shoots from which the plants will grow. First earlies are ideal for planting in potato grow bags or large containers.
