Ipheion's like a sunny sheltered spot or partial shade. A well-drained soil with plenty of humus such as leaf mould or compost is preferred. Ideal for borders, rockeries and between shrubs. Really useful seasonal ground cover for dry and shady areas. Excellent for planting among shrubs.
