Gemson Second Early Seed Potatoes

Gemson produces lots of small firm potatoes that have always performed well in tasting tests. Bred for, and best grown and lifted as a 'new' potato and for salads, they perform well in bags or in the allotment. Tubers have a slightly waxy texture and are most suitable for boiling or eaten hot or cold in salads.

Care & Maintenance

Plant second early potatoes from March to late May, and small, new potatoes will be ready to harvest in around 13 weeks. Chit before planting, and grow in the ground or in potato bags. If you're eager to plant earlier, first early potatoes start best in February.
