Winston First Early Seed Potatoes

Winston is a white skinned new potato with a very tasty, firm and creamy flesh. If left to mature and when the skins are set, Winston makes a fantastic baking potato. Prized on the exhibition bench and shows good all-round disease resistance.

Care & Maintenance

Plant first early potatoes between the end of February and late May. They'll be ready for harvest in around ten weeks from planting. It's a good idea to chit these varieties before planting, allowing them to produce long shoots from which the plants will grow. First earlies are ideal for planting in potato grow bags or large containers.
