Karmen Onion Sets

Karmen is an attractive red skinned, flattened globe onion that has white flesh with a sweet taste with rings of deep crimson throughout. Perfect within a salad or when cooking, this heavy cropping onion also stores well, which enables them to be used for long periods.

Care & Maintenance

Plant the onion sets 5–10cm (2–4in) apart, in rows 25–30cm (10–12in) apart, from mid-March to mid-April or in September. Gently push the sets into soft, well-prepared soil so the tip is just showing. Firm the soil around them and water well.
