Our homewares are sourced both from the UK and Europe giving you the best of contemporary and traditional, so if your space is urban warehouse chic or traditional Lakeland cottage, we have just the thing to dress that windowsill or coffee table in all the latest colours. Vases by the dozen line our shelves, use for flowers or just as a sculptural focal point.

Our soft furnishings department cover everything from the softest throws to snuggle into on a cold night, to cushions and rugs from nationally recognised manufacturers. Perk up that tired sofa with a couple of cushions and a throw.

Not only have we got your home covered but also your own well-being with a selection of Zen diffusers to help you sleep or just chill out. There is also a fantastic selection of pampering gifts, whether a little treat for yourself or that hard to buy for friend. Hand-made soaps, relaxing candles all help to create an aura of calm. After all that hard work in the garden relaxing bath soaks and nourishing hand creams are on hand to soften rough skin and an aching back.

The Gift Department is full of choice when it comes to that special present; from toys to tops, food to footwear and pictures to pots. Once you’ve chosen the perfect gift head to the Greeting Card area where you will find cards for every occasion, gift wrap, gift bags, tags and ribbon to make your present worthy of the event. Gifts for baby come in all shapes and sizes from the Peter Rabbit collection to a simple soft toy.

We stock a good selection of goods made here in the Lake District; ideal to take home as a present. Lakes Distillery and Lakeland Artisan Liqueurs produce local gins, vodkas and blended whisky. Ale drinkers are not forgotten, we stock local beers from both the Watermill Brewery at Ings and Tractor Shed from West Cumbria. Hawkshead Relish are renowned for their delicious jams, chutneys and sauces, try the damson jam made from local Lyth Valley damsons. And of course we stock the ubiquitous Kendal Mint Cake, if it’s good enough to be taken up Everest by Sir Edmund Hillary it’s good enough to get you to the top of the Fairfield Horseshoe. If you’re stuck for a good walk, why not take a look in our book area where you will find lots of local and walking books, from a gentle stroll ending at a local pub to something a bit more strenuous.

Eco-gifts for the environmental conscious customer include; Pure Lakes skin care, made just down the road from the garden centre in Staveley, Arran Aromatics from the beautiful island of Arran which provides employment for the local community and uses only ethically sourced re-cyclable materials and Spry candles made from vegetable waxes. We also stock a range of funky re-usable take-away coffee cups made from bamboo.

If you’re a budding Paul Hollywood, we stock his range of bakeware to inspire you to try and cook something sweet and tasty. Our kitchenware area is well stocked with everything you could possible need to bring out the next budding Master Chef. From appliances to apple corers, caddies and coasters, teapots and toasters, we have lots of delectable goodies to tempt you; after all it’s not really indulging yourself is it? It’s for the house!

If you are going for pure indulgence visit our Clothing Department for classic styles in up to the minute colours; knitwear, tops, dresses, trousers and of course comfy, stylish Reiker shoes. We also have the accessories to go with them, scarves, handbags, purses and jewellery, if you can’t find an excuse to buy them for yourself then why not treat a friend for their birthday or just because they’re just the best friend ever.
