Stylish, comfy, perfect for lazing in the sun; the Cocoon has it all
Cocoons are the fastest growing, trendiest garden furniture to come onto the market in the last couple of years; sales have rocketed. They have replaced the traditional swing seats, being so much more comfortable; perfect for a lazy afternoon in the garden curled up on the soft, deep cushions with a good book and a long cool drink, or just an afternoon nap. They come supplied with the cushions, just customise them with a throw or another couple of cushions in your favourite colour to blend in with your outdoor space or garden palette. They really suit a lush tropical style of garden, having that old colonial feel about them, but equally they will fit in with a contemporary minimalist outdoor space.

Although they are marketed as garden furniture they are perfect for a child’s bedroom, especially if it’s on the small side, the single cocoons have a very small footprint, only 110 x 110 cm (3’7” x 3’7”). As your children grow there’s no need to buy new furniture; the cocoon is just as accommodating for a youngster as it is for a teenager. They also make a great alternative to the now rather dated conservatory furniture which is on offer; a single and a double cocoon would make a really comfortable garden room suite.
They are lightweight so quite easy to move around the garden if you want to follow the sun. Just place them on a flat stable surface to avoid accidents. They come supplied with a breathable cover which prevents any condensation forming, which can lead to mildew and fungal growths. If you do need to clean them just add a small amount of washing-up liquid to some lukewarm water and apply with either a cloth or a soft brush. Clean them on a dry, warm day so that they dry as quickly as possible. If you do happen to chip the frame just dab it with a touch of clear nail varnish to prevent any further damage.
