How To Cook Nutella And Banana Calzone On The Alfa Wood Fired Oven

End your BBQ with a quick, easy sweet treat

Why not end your barbecue with a really easy sweet calzone (folded pizza) for dessert? This is so easy all you do is cook the pizza without any topping. Turn the pizza over half way through the bake, after about 2 minutes to ensure it browns on both sides.

Pre-heat the Alfa wood fired oven and place in the pizza, cook for about 4 minutes in total, keep turning to stop it burning on one side.

Spread the cooked pizza with a thin layer of Nutella, then slice a banana over half of the pizza. Make a crease down the centre of the pizza and fold in half, and that’s all there is to it. Vary the toppings to utilise anything you have in the garden, if using hard fruit like apples and pears you will have to poach them beforehand as they won’t be in the oven long enough for the fruit to cook.
