Terrace Café Team Member

Our Four Seasons Café, with an outside terrace and wonderful views, are recruiting now for members of staff to work in various areas of the café. The ideal candidates will have a hands-on approach to all duties within a catering environment.

You must enjoy working as part of a team, be adaptable and flexible and able to cope in a fast-paced environment. All our staff, do their best, to ensure that our visitors enjoy their time in the Café.

Working 30 hours (4 days) a week to include weekends and Bank Holidays
Extra hours are possible to cover holidays and busy periods

Warehouse & Christmas Assistants

We are looking to recruit temporary staff on a 6/7-month contract, to work firstly in our warehouse pricing up all of our Christmas products, then you will help to set up our amazing Christmas displays and finally you will help our team to sell the products on the shop floor.

We are looking for individuals that can work on their own initiative and as part of a team. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and help deal with all of our customers queries.

We are looking for full and part time team members to join our team from July/August until mid-January.

Full time positions will be 37.5 hours per week, Part time positions, hours/days can be discussed.
All positions will be Monday to Friday from July until the end of September, then working every other weekend and bank holidays on a rota basis.

Monday - Sunday - 9.00am to 5.30pm

We are looking to recruit temporary staff on a 6-month contract, to work in our Christmas department, to help with the setting up of our amazing Christmas displays and then you will help our team to sell the products on the shop floor.

Full time positions will be 37.5 hours per week, Part time positions, hours/days can be discussed.
All positions will be Monday to Friday until the end of September, then working every other weekend and bank holidays on a rota basis.

Customer Relations Administrator - Maternity Cover

Want to join a friendly team in a fast-paced environment? Then this may be the role for you.
Our ever-growing garden centre is looking for a skilled problem solver to join our team as a Customer Service/Sales Representative. We need an enthusiastic individual who can listen to customer service issues and then offers a unique and innovative solution to each problem.
The successful candidate must have a strong command of the company’s customer service policies and be well-trained in product knowledge, which can be critical for offering quick and accurate assistance to our customers. Also, the successful candidate must be able to discuss products with customers over the phone and to advise them on the correct products to suit their needs. 

Duties include:

  • Answering incoming customer calls regarding product problems, delivery issues and general customer concerns.
  • Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism with customers and working to establish a positive rapport with every call.
  • Updating customer information in the customer service database during and after each call.
  • Working with the management team to stay updated on product knowledge and be informed of any changes in company policies.
  • Taking telephone orders over the phone.
  • Advising customers on products to suit their needs.
  • Upselling where necessary.

Must have's

  • Ability to remain professional and courteous at all times.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Be flexible.

From July/August 2021 until June 2022, working 37.5 hours a week, to include bank holidays and weekends on a rota basis.

Furniture Team Member Full Time

Want to join a friendly team in a fast-paced environment? Then this may be the role for you. We are looking for the ideal candidate to join our busy furniture team. They must have the ability to communicate with customers and deliver excellent customer service.

Duties include:

  • Ensure a high standard of customer service is consistently maintained.
  • Maximise sales opportunities through the correct use of selling skills and techniques.
  • Keep up to date with new developments and product knowledge.
  • Efficiently process and check customers’ orders on our till system.
  • Assist in the unloading of stock as and when required.
  • Effectively deal with customer enquiries and queries.
  • Provide information about warranties, manufacturing specifications, care and maintenance of products and delivery options
  • Provide assistance to other areas of the garden centre, as and when required.

Must have's

  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to remain professional and courteous at all times.
  • Excellent communication skills including telephone manner.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Effective time management skills.

Working 37.5 hours per week, to include working bank holidays and weekends.
