How To Clean The Mould Off Synthetic Rattan Garden Furniture

Buy good quality rattan furniture to avoid the problem of mould and mildew

Good quality synthetic rattan garden furniture is resistant to moulds and mildew so you need not do anything other than the yearly end of season clean.

Cheap synthetic furniture however is not made to the same high specifications and can become infected with micro-organisms. One way to get rid of the organisms is to wipe down with a weak bleach solution; however as cheap synthetic furniture is not dyed all the way through the polyethylene this will leave a light coloured mark. One way to avoid this is to spray off the moulds with a pressure washer. Do this on a warm windy day to speed up the drying process. Unfortunately due to the nature of the cheaper material this is going to be an on-going problem.
