Performer Seed Potatoes are a popular choice for fish and chips and for adding to hot, melting butter as a jacket potato. What Performer Seed Potatoes lack in yield is made up for in size with their large, white tubers. They can be harvested between September and October.
Grow main crop potatoes in the ground for best results, as they'll have more space. Main crop varieties tend to produce larger spuds for baking and roasting. Chit the tubers and plant up from March to mid-May for a harvest in approximately 20 weeks.
