Marfona is very popular with gardeners due to its reliable nature and excellent flavour. A great all-rounder in the kitchen, cooking qualities are excellent and the potatoes are full of flavour - delicious hot or cold. The plant is of medium height and ideal for container or bag growing.
Plant second early potatoes from March to late May, and small, new potatoes will be ready to harvest in around 13 weeks. Chit before planting, and grow in the ground or in potato bags. If you're eager to plant earlier, first early potatoes start best in February.
