How To Protect The Feet On Natural Rattan And Cane Conservatory Furniture

Keep your conservatory furniture looking pristine for longer with feet guards

Desser Paris set (pictured above)

Protecting your natural rattan and cane conservatory furniture’s feet will keep the furniture looking better for longer. If you use the furniture outside in good weather, this is particularly important if you place the furniture on a grassy surface as the natural cane furniture frame will absorb any moisture from the lawn and cause it to swell and eventually split.

If using the furniture in a garden room make sure the humidity is not too high otherwise the natural materials can swell and split.

The furniture feet can be protected with a rubber guard which will protect against the cane frame splitting.

Lifting rather than dragging the furniture will also help keep the furniture in pristine condition. Dragging also puts pressure on the joints which could eventually become weakened.
