Daily Express
The Daily Express was originally published as a broadsheet in 1900, switching to a tabloid format in 1977. It was one of the first newspapers to feature a crossword and also ran the famous Rupert Bear cartoon strip. Like it’s sister newspaper the Daily Star it also courted controversy with its scurrilous allegations. It also triggered a newspaper strike by embarking in controversial cost cutting measures.
It has recommended several of our products in its print version, most recently the Weber Digital Thermometer and the Smokey Mountain 37cm smoker.
Our gardening experts have had their knowledge featured recently in the Express, telling you how to reduce costs, particularly pertinent at the present time. This time the article was about how you cut the cost of fertiliser for your plants and instead recycle eggshells.
