Barbecue Class - Taste of Asia
Who doesn’t love Asian food? There is a huge range of Eastern dishes that can be cooked on the barbecue and this ‘Taste of Asia’ explores just a few of them. A great many of the iconic Asian dishes are cooked in the street over live fire in a wok so are ideal for recreating on the barbecue. They are perfectly suited to cooking fish and chicken, noodles and vegetables. Once you have mastered the basics you can easily recreate the family’s favourites.
This 3 to 4 hour course, under the expert guidance of top BBQ chef Richard Holden, shows you how to master the basics and cook and eat 10 dishes which can set you off on your Asian odyssey. These recipes can easily be cooked by even the novice pitmaster so don’t think you have to be an experienced barbecuer to learn how to cook tasty Eastern food. You can try out grills from top barbecue manufacturers such as Weber, Traeger and Kamado Joe.
The course costs £60 per person & each attendee will receive a recipe book to take home, so you can recreate every dish you cooked for your family and friends.
Richard is a Cordon Bleu qualified chef, who worked at Westfield Stratford City through the 2012 Olympics and has cooked for sporting superstars including Sir Steve Redgrave. Sharing his passion for great tasting barbecue food that’s far beyond bangers and burgers, Richard will show some of the barbecue techniques he has used in the huge range of BBQ videos in our Blog.
