After years of waiting, we are proud to finally say that the guys and gals from Angus & Oink are coming to see us here at The Barbecue Shop, Hayes Garden World to host their much sought after barbecue classes with us this September.
The Pit boss (Scott), Mrs Oink (Malissa) and Hungry Oink (Rebecca) will be with us to host a 4-hour barbecue class on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th September. Classes start at 12pm and run for approximately 4 hours.
What's Included:
- All the food on the day
- Refreshments - Beer, Wine, Soft drinks, Tea and Coffee
- Apron to use on the day and keep
- Recipe cards so you can recreate the dishes cooked on the day at home
This class will cover the following:
- Different BBQ types & tools
- Fuel types and woods
- Basic rules of BBQ Setting up for Grilling & Smoking
- Heat Management & Zoning
- Setting Up for Low & Slow
- Food will be served all through the 4-hour course, please come hungry!
Typical example menu is as follows:
- Sausage with Chimichurri
- Hanger Steak Tacos
- BBQ Chicken Thighs
- BBQ Pork Shoulder or Brisket
- Jerk Wings
