Outdoor Plants Team Members
1 x Team Member weekends only – 16 hours
1 x Full Time position 40 hours
The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of plants ideally supported by an Horticultural qualification. They will have the ability to communicate well with our customers delivering excellent standards of customer care. Working in a busy retail team environment they will have a hands-on approach to all duties within this department.

A 40 hour working week will include every other weekend and bank holidays on a rota basis for the full-time position, and 16 hours for the weekend position.
Garden Furniture/BBQ Department
Full-Time Team Member
40 hours per week - working every other weekend and Bank Holidays on a rota basis
8.45 am to 6.00 pm Monday to Saturday and 10.00 am to 5.30 pm Sunday

Pets & Aquatics Team Member
Full Time 40 hours per week – working every other weekend and Bank Holidays on a rota basis
We are looking for a confident and energetic assistant to work alongside the current team. The right candidate will be able bodied (able to safely lift 25kg) as this is a very physically demanding position.
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and has a can-do attitude. Excellent customer service skills are vital, along with the ability to talk to customers and advise them on pet, aquatic and pond care, whilst being able to attune to their needs, therefore building good rapport, customer trust and loyalty.
A knowledge of pond filtration and maintenance would be beneficial as would a good understanding of all aspects of aquatic animal husbandry. We also require you to have an interest and understanding of canine, feline and small animal behaviour, along with basic nutritional knowledge. Ongoing training will be given in all areas.
Full Time Catering Assistants x 2
40 Hours per week, working every other weekend and Bank Holidays on a rota basis.
Hayes Garden World offers free transport to and from work from selected areas and at selected times.
