What is the best wood for a garden chair?

Teak is usually the best wood for a garden chair. As a hardwood, teak is very long lasting and will withstand most weather conditions. If your teak garden chair has been treated, it may last even longer. Treating a teak garden chair every two to three years will keep it looking as good as new. Rust-free aluminium is also a great choice for a garden chair as, again, it requires little maintenance to continue looking good. Rattan weave is ideal for larger chairs, like sofas, as it is weather and UV resistant and can last as long as 10 years.
