Yes there are several models which are small enough to pack in the car boot. The NEW gas powered Traveller comes with an integrated stand so no more bad backs and it assembles in minutes so you can start grilling straight away and there are no messy hot ashes to deal with. The smaller Go-Anywhere is either gas or charcoal powered but you will have to find somewhere to site it or else grill on your knees. The small charcoal Smokey Joe is also ideal to take on an outing but again you need something on which to place it or else grill on your knees, and there is also the problem of having to dispose of hot ashes.
