He has spent almost all his career, from being a teenager, working at Hayes Garden World, approximately 35 years. The majority of his Hayes career spent as Team Leader of the Garden Furniture Department. As such he has profound knowledge of Hayes customers and can always predict the latest garden trends and which garden furniture our customers will find the most appealing. He has been the chief furniture buyer for several years; at the heart of his buying strategy is quality and value for money. He was the head of the Tillington garden centres buying consortium, responsible for sourcing competitively priced garden furniture while maintaining the quality our customers have grown to expect. Keith has forged close ties with the suppliers and as such we have only taken on board those which we can completely depend on to provide a top class service. We source our furniture not only from the UK but also Europe and Asia. The suppliers we deal with are all respected in their field for their outstanding quality and customer service, value for money and up to the minute design. All the garden furniture sold by Hayes is the very best quality and as such will last much longer than the budget lines, at least 15 years under normal use but it does have to be secured in winter and in strong winds.
Yes, you can leave your garden table outside all year no matter what the weather. All of our garden furniture including our garden tables are fully weatherproof so are suitable to be left out in all seasons. However, we do recommend keeping your garden table covered in the winter months to protect it even further, we offer a wide range of furniture covers to cover your garden table. We also recommend securing your table if there are high winds because it could blow over and could potentially become damaged.   
Your garden table will last 15 years under normal use. All of our garden tables at Hayes are the very best quality so will last you a long time. Depending on what material table you buy, it could last you longer. Metal garden furniture is often the longest lasting - aluminium garden tables are especially durable and will last through many weather conditions. Wooden tables are also durable and can last several years, however they will require more maintenance and could rot if not property taken care of.   
Different garden tables will require different levels of maintenance. Our metal garden tables will require very little maintenance, just a wash down with hot soapy water to keep it looking brand new. Our wooden garden tables may require extra maintenance as they need treatments annually to  keep it looking its best. You can use teak, danish or boiled linseed oil to treat your wooden garden table.
