Christmas Garlands

Shop Christmas garlands for Christmas 2020 at Hayes Garden World. Artificial, pre-lit and luxury garlands available. No room for an artificial Christmas tree? Why not decorate a garland instead. Xmas garlands are more versatile than a Christmas tree as they can be wound around the bannister, draped over the fireplace or pictures or just hung in swathes along the wall. The pre-lit Christmas garlands are lit with LEDs which last an average of 50,000 hours, well above the life of the garland, and you save hours putting on and taking off Christmas lights. Garlands can look stunning with just a few carefully chosen ornaments or laden with baubles, florals, ornaments and ribbon. Don’t have the time or inclination to decorate your own garland? We sell stunning garlands already decorated with snow, cones, fruit and berries, just place in position, plug in and enjoy your Christmas. Free delivery to the UK mainland on all orders over £50. Where can I use a Christmas garland?

Garlands come in masses of colours and forms so are one of the most versatile Christmas decorative items. Slender garlands can be draped over pictures or intertwined with a plain green garland to add some interest before adding lights and decorations. A decorated lighted garland can transform the Christmas dining table, add toning napkins and placemats. Lighted decorated Christmas garlands also look stunning wound around the stair spindles, don’t wind them around the actual bannister as they could give way if someone slips on the stairs and grabs for the handrail. What can I add to a plain garland?

First thing to add is a set of battery-operated Christmas lights then you can add almost anything you can think of. If you like the natural look and are on a budget spray some cones and architectural dried flower heads from the garden. Hydrangeas, Oriental poppies and teasels look particularly effective sprayed with an antique gold or bronze, just mix with some twigs and sprays of berries. If using a garland on the Christmas dining table you can add candles to the natural vegetation to add height and interest. Packs of shatterproof baubles are relatively inexpensive and look fantastic when just used on their own. There are masses of decorative items you can use on the Christmas garland; baubles, hanging tree decorations, florals, Christmas ornaments, ribbon and fabric bows.
