Just because you only have a small tree it doesn't mean that you can't have the 'wow' factor, just pile on the decorations. Keep the colour palette simple, don't have too many different colours, select a main colour d a couple of secondary colours. Buy the bulk of the decorations in the main colour and less of the secondary shades. Don't buy a lot of different ornate styles otherwise it will look really messy and include plain baubles. Buying plain shatterproof baubles is a great cost effective way to decorate your small artificial Christmas tree.
Don't rush dressing out your tree, carefully position each branch and side branch to fill the gaps.
