The easiest trees are the LED pre-lits, no more messing around putting on and taking off lights, no rat's nest of wires to untangle and the LED's should last about 50,000 hours. If you do want to put on your own lights here at Hayes we recommend at least 100 per foot of tree. Try using two colours of lights, one in the centre of the tree and another around the outside.
