Best Bosk snowy and frosted artificial Christmas tree

Snowy and frosted artificial Christmas trees have been incredibly popular for the past few years and 2024 looks like they are going to be the stand-out trees again. With a bit of imagination they can suit a huge number of colour palettes, not just the Alpine and Scandi themes. Click here to read the blog which gives you some tips on how to decorate this style of tree. The trees which come already decorated with cones suggest a woodland theme. Opting for the pre-lit versions make your life a whole lot easier, no fiddling about trying to get strings of lights distributed evenly. If you do want to use your own lights watch our video on Youtube which shows you the easiest way to put on the lights. We recommend a minimum of 100 lights per foot of tree so a 7.5ft tree would need 750 lights to give you a good coverage.

Arden Pine

If you don’t think that you have space for a Christmas tree think again, this frosted Arden Pine is ideal for modern living as it is slim enough to just pop into a tight corner or to stand beside the television. Save time and a whole lot of frustration by buying a pre-lit version. The warm white LEDs alleviate the frustration of de-tangling the lights from the previous year which have just been dumped in a carrier bag and resemble a huge rats nest. Even though the snowy trees at first sight look like they could be difficult to decorate but they do lend themselves to a lot of different contemporary colour ways; Arctic and Scandi are the obvious choices but think antique gold, cream and caramel or blush pink, cream and copper. Pop into store and visit our spectacular Christmas displays for even more inspiration.

Frosted Sherwood Fir

If you love a natural woodland style decorated Christmas tree then this Sherwood Fir is the one for you as it comes pre-decorated with cones and a dusting of frost, Scandi and Arctic palettes also suit this tree. Buying a pre-lit version is a no-brainer, it gives you more time to spend with family and friends and no frustrating rats nest to de-tangle. The downswept large lower branches enhance the feeling of a real forest tree bowed under the weight of a snowfall. If you are a bit tight on space for a full width tree then this gorgeous tree is perfect as it is narrower than normal making it ideal for the modern home or placing it on a landing or in the hallway. Decorate your staircase simply to match with a frosted garland and some bows.

Wentworth Fir

Modern homes don’t account for a full size Christmas tree so this slimmer than normal frosted tree is  ideal if you want something a bit different. The frosted trees lend themselves to an Alpine or Scandi palette but you can think outside the box and go for the muted pastels which are so in this year; antique gold and dusky pink paired with caramel looks fantastic in a modern minimalist setting. The pre-lit versions feature warm white LEDs which give the tree a soft glow. The lights are long lived and will last much longer than the life of the tree, which we guarantee for 5 years, plus they only cost a couple of pounds to run over the festive period. This guarantee covers materials and construction but is invalidated if the lights have been mistreated.

Whinfell Fir

The long needles on this snowy tree make it stand out from the crowd, they are a little more unusual than the normal frosted trees. If you love a natural woodland colour scheme, think cones, twisted branches sprayed in copper, warm caramel and soft turquoise then this tree would fit the bill perfectly. The warm white LEDs on the pre-lit versions are a no-brainer as all you need do is connect the small jacks inside the tree as you attach each section. Spending more time with family and friends is usually high on most people’s list so why spend fruitless hours faffing around putting lights on trees when you can buy them ready done.

The majority of our artificial Christmas trees are on show on the shop floor here in the store at Ambleside so why not pay us a visit. Do all your Christmas shopping in one go then treat yourself to a delicious freshly cooked lunch while looking out over the stunning Lakeland fells.
