The Christmas extravaganza is now open

It’s that time of year when we open our wonderful world of Christmas, this year’s spectacular promises to be even better than usual. We have nearly every colour bauble you can imagine; bright gold, antique gold, rose gold, silver, antique silver, white, frosty, iridescent and the list goes on. We have 8 themes this year all colour co-ordinated to give you ideas if you are unsure which colour goes with which. Alpine Cabin

If you’ve ever longed to spend Christmas holed up in a log cabin surrounded by fragrant pine forests, then this colour theme is the one for you. It’s a mix of tartan, forest colours and small woodland animals. The result is a cosy feel, ideal for partnering with a roaring log fire and a glass of mulled wine. The colours are sage, cream, copper, ochre, wine, tartan and natural wood. Try pairing cream, copper and ochre or sage, wine and tartan rather than going for the whole colour palette. The decorated tree in this theme is the Ontario Fir 7.5ft pre-lit with warm white LED lights.

Arctic Winter

This theme is the epitome of winter with its icy blue, deep blue, white, frost and antique silver. If your idea of winter is heading for the mountains to play in the snow, then this colour palette must be your idea of heaven; skiing under a cloudless blue sky over crisp glistening snow.

Around the World

All the colours of the world are present in this vibrant theme; bright colours and the traditional Christmas red, green and gold. Think multi-coloured lights, candy canes and big bold baubles. The decorated tree in this theme is the Empire Grande Fir 7ft pre-lit with multi-coloured LED lights. If you’re a fan of the ‘throw everything at it’ style of tree decorating, then this is the one for you.

Evening song

Richness and sumptuousness are the name of the game with this theme; deep purple, emerald, gold and turquoise. If you love the opulence of the opera or the vibrancy of the East this colour palette would satisfy your craving for luxury. Peacocks and top hats are the quirky items which make this theme stand out from the crowd. The decorated tree in this theme is the Ontario Fir 8ft pre-lit with warm white LED lights. We also have a baby grand piano, so if you have the talent please feel free to give us a tune while you are in store.  

Home Comforts

The Christmas dining table is often a show-stopper and our theme this year is sure to wow your guests; dark blue and silver with a touch of aqua and royal blue sets the scene for the long awaited dinner. Decorating the table need not send you into a tizz, just lay out a decorated garland down the length of the table, add a set of battery-operated micro lights, some baubles and battery-operated candles and there you have it, done in minutes. Merry Christmas

You can’t have Christmas without the traditional red, green and gold, here this year we have focused on the darker shades to produce our Merry Christmas section. Whatever the current trends are this colour scheme never fades in popularity. It contains all your favourites; snowy post boxes, robins, poinsettia tea-light holders, luscious red berries, gold candlesticks as well as all your favourite baubles.  

Swan Lake

Dusky pink, rose gold, antique gold and white make up the Swan Lake theme to give you a colour scheme to enchant any little girl. The soft colours have grown in popularity in recent years as people shift away from the traditional to something more design orientated. Large pieces such as masks and large butterflies are a great way of filling the tree. The decorated tree is a Snowy Sheffield 7ft pre-lit with the LED lights on the warm white setting; the dusting of snow perfectly complements the soft colour palette.

Unicorn Magic

This is the ideal theme for a little girl’s bedroom with its unicorns, fairies and pastel Santas. The Baby’s First Christmas has also been incorporated into this theme. Unicorns have been popular for a couple of years and this shows no signs of waning. The decorated tree in this section is the Snowy Sheffield Spruce 7ft pre-lit with the lights on the pastel setting.

There is also the usual lighting section, bigger and better than ever; strings, lighted snowing lanterns, LED outdoor reindeer, LED pictures, twig lights and the popular Polestar burst of lights are all here as well as lots, lots more. The Santa tree, which this year is the Dunhill Fir 12ft pre-lit with warm white LED lights, dominates the centre of the floor. The 16ins Santas are priced at £12.99 so no reason why every home should be without their very own Santa this Christmas.

The artificial Christmas tree area features the ubiquitous traditional green trees as well as snowy and frosted. Take the strain out of putting lights onto the tree by buying a pre-lit tree, all you have to do is attach the small connectors located within the tree. The new Dual Lit Iceland and Snowy Sheffield Spruce have 3 colours of lights all within the same system. You can choose from a selection of 9 settings including warm white lights, multi-coloured or pastel, flashing, twinkling or static. There are fat trees, skinny trees and those which look as if they have just come out of the Arctic forest. All the trees are a third off the recommended retail price and if it is over £50 and you live on the UK mainland then we will deliver it free of charge, so no need to struggle to squeeze it into the car.   

There is also a huge array of Christmas food located at the northern end of the shop; ideal for a present or a little indulgence for yourself. There are flavoured gins and beers to help put the ‘Merry’ in Christmas, biscuits in festive tins, chocolate by the bar, box and bag, plus a whole lot more.

We are the one-stop shop to help you take the stress out of Christmas; the rest of the store contains a whole cornucopia of goodies; presents for mum, dad, sister, brother and everyone else. The Barbecue Shop is the ideal spot to look for that something special for the budding pitmaster in your life, from high end barbecues to a tub of tasty rub. The toy department has that special something for your little ones, clothing for the lady in your life, even your four-legged friends aren’t forgotten. After all this shopping take the strain off your weary feet and relax in our Four Seasons Terrace Café with a coffee and generous slice of home-made cake.
