Nordic Spruce Artificial Christmas Tree

Nordic Spruce Artificial Christmas Tree

For a real tree look without the mess, this Nordic Spruce is ideal

If you want an authentic looking Christmas tree without the mess of hoovering up needles for the rest of the year, then this Nordic Spruce from The National Tree Company would be an ideal tree. This combined with its Next Generation new technological features make it one of the easiest, quickest to assemble, so if you can think of something better to do than wrestle with a Christmas tree, then this tree is for you. It is available in various heights ranging from 135cm (4.5’) to 240cm (8’) and in a slim version which is ideal if you are lacking space or need to light up a tight corner.

The tree will arrive in a sturdy cardboard box which can be used to store the tree for future years. We sometimes have queries from customers who report that the plastic component of their tree has arrived broken; this piece of plastic has no relevance to the tree whatsoever and can be thrown away. It is placed over the ends of the metal poles to protect anyone who handles the goods from injury; it stops the poles from piercing the sides of the box.

First step is to take out the stand and form into an X, next take the base portion of the tree, usually the largest and heaviest, place it into the stand and tighten the screw. Gently ease off the protective sleeve, you may have to put your foot on the stand to do this, and let the branches fall down. Dress them out to cover any gaps, this will take longer the first year, thereafter in subsequent years it should fall more or less into the desired shape. Once the bottom portion is dressed out, insert the centre piece and treat in the same way as the bottom section. It is easier to dress out the top section before placing onto the tree, particularly if the tree is quite tall. The branches are constructed from Memory Wire which is how the tree manages to retain its shape year after year.

All these Next Generation trees have branches which are a mixture of PE (polyethylene) and PVC. The PE component is the most expensive so is confined to the outer edges of the tree with the PVC being in the centre where, once the tree is decorated, it won’t be seen. The PE branches are modelled on casts taken from real trees and they have a soft feel to give them that authentic look. Trees with PE are sometimes marketed as being Feel Real. We are often asked about 100% PE trees but as it is probably the most expensive part of the tree, a full tree would be outside the budget of most of our customers. If you are thinking about buying an artificial tree check how many tips the tree contains as there are a lot of trees which have the same name, but sold by different retailers from various manufacturers some of which are of inferior quality. So the thing to remember is that the more tips a tree has the thicker and better quality it will be.

If you really want to save an enormous amount of time and a lot of frustration then opt for a pre-lit tree. They have warm white, static LED lights, which should last an average of 50,000 hours. All the trees have replaceable bulbs, which, should any fail, we will replace free of charge for the life of the tree; which The National Tree Company estimates to be about 15years. All our trees are guaranteed for life; so if there is a manufacturing fault with any part of the tree we will supply a replacement part or if that is not possible we will replace the whole tree. Click here to view the full terms of our warranty.

The pre-lit version of this tree features the Power Connect lighting system whereby all you need to do is to plug them in and switch on; no more grappling with the branches to find the little connectors. When you have secured the base in the stand, plug in the lights and switch on. When you insert the middle section the lights should come on automatically; if they don’t just apply a little gentle pressure to the section and twist it, this should ensure a better connection. The top section will also light as soon as it is inserted. You will notice that there is a spare connection at the top of the tree, this is for the pre-lit tree topper which is only compatible with pre-lit trees from The National Tree Company. If your tree doesn’t light please phone our sales team for help; whatever you do don’t undo the connections which are in-amongst the tree branches as you will spend hours trying to reattach them.

If you order a pre-lit tree you will receive a free Music Match system which allows the tree lights to dance in time to your music stored on your phone. Just pair the device to your phone and you’re all ready to get the party off with a swing or keep the kids amused for hours with all their favourite songs.
