Parsnips with honey & thyme cooked on the Traeger Timberline 850

How To Cook Roast Christmas Parsnips On The Traeger Timberline 850 Wood Pellet Grill

Cook delicious, sweet, aromatic parsnips outdoors on the BBQ at Christmas

Ingredients:

  • parsnips
  • honey
  • fresh thyme; finely chopped

 

 

Equipment:

  • roasting tray

Peel and cut the parsnips into quarters.

Coat the parsnips with the honey and sprinkle on the thyme.

Cook for about 20 minutes on the centre shelf at 200C (392F); don’t place them too near the bottom otherwise the honey will burn.

Take them off when the tip of a sharp knife penetrates them easily.
