Acacia is a hardwood that is light in color and takes polish well; it is extremely durable, making it perfect for outdoor furniture. It does not contain the substantial amounts of natural oil that some other woods do. This means that your acacia garden furniture will need extra protection from harsh outdoor weather with an annual treatment of teak oil to prevent drying out, cracking and splitting. Clean using Hartman Teak Cleaner or give the furniture a light sanding. When the product is completely dry apply the smallest amount of Hartman Teak Oil to the furniture any excess oil should be removed with a dry cloth. Hartman Garden Furniture should not be covered when not in use as this traps moisture and can cause mould to develop, we recommend that a cover should not be used on any of our products. Do not jet spray your furniture as this can cause damage and will not be covered by your guarantee.

A two-year guarantee term applies to hardwoods for material and construction faults.
