Four Seasons Terrace Café - Ambleside

The Four Seasons Terrace Café is perfect for relaxing and enjoying a tempting snack or hot meal, whilst enjoying the fantastic views. We are located on the 1^st floor and have lift access.

We have an extensive range of deliciously home made cuisine. We cater for everyone’s needs and offer a host of wholesome and traditional meals as well as a wide range of delicious homemade patisseries and desserts, all of which are made daily in our kitchen.

Four Seasons Terrace Café

Breakfast available from 9:00am – 11:00am

Full English Breakfast with local sausages and bacon, and all the extras you might expect.
Various baps/sandwiches i.e.: bacon, egg, sausage etc.

Lunch from 11.30am – 2.30pm

Lakeland Minted Lamb Henry.
Smoked Haddock & Spring Onion Fishcakes.
Cumbrian Steak & Ale Pie.
Traditional Cumbrian Topside Roast Beef, with Yorkshire Pudding.

Afternoon Tea from 2.30pm - 4.30pm

Freshly made sandwiches, home made scone with fresh cream and jam, served with your choice of tea or coffee.

Our Sandwiches and cakes are available all day, along with hot and cold drinks.

We also offer Jacket Potatoes, Soup, Panini and Salad Bar from 11:00am – 3.30pm.

We source our food using local ingredients and produce.

Speciality Coffee Counter

We have a speciality coffee counter where you can choose from an extensive range of locally roasted coffees, again we use a local supplier www.farrers.com .We also offer traditional, speciality and fruit teas as well as thirst quenching cold drinks.

Coach Trips

Groups, parties and coaches are all welcome by prior appointment. Please read our Coach Trips Information page.

We welcome coach parties of any size and there are designated coach parking areas for ease of access. We can comfortably accommodate coach parties in our newly refurbished Terrace Café. The restaurant seats 250 people and enjoys stunning views over the fells.

Four Seasons Terrace Café is open every day, except Christmas Day, New Years Day and Easter Sunday. Food is served between 9.00am and 4.30pm.

With a personal "meet-and-greet" facility for pre-booked visits, complimentary welcome pack for all your passengers, and a small free gift for every pre-booked visitor, we guarantee a very warm welcome for every member of your party.

We also have a coach driver incentive scheme whereby, for those coaches bringing a party of over 30 people, the driver can have a free lunch and a drink of their choice.

We are now stocking our festive range including a wide selection of Artificial Christmas Trees available in a wide variety of sizes and styles such as our popular pre lit Christmas trees.

Within our 2010 range, we also have a range of Christmas Lights available to purchase online from our LED Christmas tree lights to our fantastic selection of multi-coloured outdoor Christmas lights.
