Our outdoor spaces are now more important than ever and a fire pit table and chairs is the first step to making it more comfortable and somewhere you will enjoy socialising with family and friends. These sets are ideal if space is limited and you don’t have room for both a set of furniture and a separate fire pit or if you want to leave space for the barbecue. Although you can’t cook on these sets you can toast marshmallows or grill sausages on a skewer. The rattan weave furniture is not only easy maintenance but also super comfortable so perfect for making the most of those cool autumn evenings, just add some snuggly throws and good company. Our head buyers Keith Laird and Ian Hodgett have been involved in buying the finest quality garden furniture here at Hayes for over 60 years combined so have established good relationships with the best garden furniture suppliers, such as Bramblecrest and LIFE Outdoor. This relationship has enabled us to negotiate some super deals which means you pay the best possible price for top end furniture.

The fire pits are fuelled either  by charcoal or gas if you don’t like the mess and want instant heat. They are virtually maintenance free, just requiring a wash down in spring with a mild washing-up liquid and warm water solution. The resin weave used on the furniture is dyed throughout and is colourfast so won’t transfer on to your clothes unlike the budget ranges on offer from the large multi-national DIY stores. The frames of the furniture are aluminium which again won’t rust and transfer to your clothes. The high quality of the materials used means that under normal wear and tear you can expect at least 15 years service out of your garden furniture. The minimum guarantee on our garden furniture is 12 months with many brands having an extra 12 months giving you 2 years peace of mind that should it develop a fault either in the construction or the materials our Customer Services team are on hand to rectify any problem. Our warranty does not cover any damage sustained as a result of adverse weather conditions.

Cooking over the fire pits is limited to toasting marshmallows or grilling sausages on a skewer.

There are fire pits which burn charcoal or gas if you want instant heat and no mess.

How much maintenance do they require?

As with the majority of our sets of garden furniture all they require is a wash down in spring with a mild solution of warm water and washing-up liquid.

Do they need covering in winter?
All our garden furniture is fully weatherproof so can be left uncovered however if you wish to prolong the life span of the furniture we de recommend that it is covered and the cushions are stored somewhere dry.
