A trip to Hayes Garden World is not complete without a visit to our Food Hall. It is the ideal place to get some mouth-watering local produce to enjoy at home or to buy as edible Lake District gifts for friends & relatives. The opening of our new building has allowed us to make changes within the garden centre to expand one of our most popular areas & improve your shopping experience.

You will be relieved to know that there is still the same great variety of honey, jams, curds, chutneys & relishes from a vast range of companies including Mrs Bridges, Hayes, Pennine Way, Cottage Delight & Hawkshead Relish.

We haven’t cut down on the number of chocolates & treats available either with famous names like Green & Blacks, Beeches & Bon Bons to locally made favourites such as Appleby Bakery biscuits & the famous Kendal Mint Cake!

If you prefer savouries we stock Tyrells handmade crisps & for those of you who are eating more healthily, a range from Julian Graves. To cater for those of you with restrictive diets we also have a range of sugar-free goodies & gluten-free biscuits by Kent & Fraser so that you aren’t left out! There is a great range of flavours including Chocolate Butter Crunch, Vanilla Butter Crunch, Sussex Farmer's Savoury Biscuits, Spicy Ginger, Lemon Butter Shortbread and Stilton and Walnut Savoury Biscuits.

We have also started stocking locally brewed beers which include A Bit'er Ruff, Collie Wobbles, W'Ruff Night and Dog'th Vader from the Watermill at Ings. These also come in gift packs including a specially designed beer glass.
