This years rerun of the 1913 ISDT will be held on Friday 21st August and is in memory of Tony Sharp, two times ISDT Gold Medal Winner. As with last years event there is sponsorship from CONISTON BREWERY with their Bluebird Bitter and also from Richard Hayes of HAYES GARDEN WORLD AMBLESIDE which is where the ISDT rerun starts.
Richard has been so impressed with the event over the last 2 years. He said the quality and standard of the old British bikes combined with the enthusiasm of the mature riders, who travel from all over England, Scotland and Wales to compete in this one off event, is now very special and he is pleased to help.
The event is open to pre 1979 British Motorcycles, the first bike leaves Hayes Garden World at 9am followed at minute intervals by bikes in two's or three's. It will be run on A & B Class roads with optional Green Lanes and a stop on route for lunch.
